Rehearsal Format

To cater for the differing playing standards of orchestra members the format of each rehearsal begins with easier pieces, progressing to more difficult music after the break, and includes section practices and some sight-reading.

We aim to perform three informal concerts each year to an invited audience of parents, spouses, family and friends, and senior citizens from the local area; two with a predominantly light classical theme, and the third with a Christmas theme.  As a rule we do not put ourselves under pressure by giving public performances.
